Hi students, parents, and friends!

 

My name is Natalia Tsvirko and I am the music director in "East Hebrew Day School" a private school in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from Tel- Aviv, Israel, I received my B.M.E, B.MUS  and M.A degrees in Music Education and Performance from CUNY Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, NY.

 

I am teaching nursery, UPK, elementary and middle school levels. My music class includes a combination of teaching techniques and methods that incorporate multiple modes of learning. Since each child learns in a slightly different way, I try to use a variety of media to engage and encourage our students. A single music lesson includes elements of the Orff-Schulwerk, Kodaly, and Dalcroze Eurhythmics approaches. I maintain an arts rich curriculum integrating music, movement, drama, and visual art across all grade levels.

 

In addition to daily music classes, I established "Harmonia" music school which offers affordable and professional music lessons (guitar, keyboard, choir, musical theater and more) to small groups and individuals.
